Je zal maar een leidinggevende zijn, die normaal gesproken ingesleten procespaden betreedt en nu een heel nieuw concept van leidinggeven moet bedenken om aan de ene kant snel recht te doen aan de ouders en om aan de andere kant het geld niet nodeloos over de balk te gooien. En tenslotte zal je maar Tweede Kamerlid zijn en je de schompes gewerkt hebben om de onderste steen boven water te krijgen in de toeslagenaffaire. Weliswaar gewaarschuwd, dat het muisje nog wel een heel lange staart met allemaal gezwellen zou kunnen hebben. Maar om tot nu toe wel opgejaagd door de wanhopige ouders verder niets kunnen bereiken, dan moedeloos afwachten. Daar had je als kamerlid niet zo hard voor gevochten. Zo draait de carrousel steeds harder vast in de grond. Niet alleen voor de klagende medewerkers, maar zo langzamerhand voor iedereen die aan de stangen van de rondtollende carrousel hangt wordt het een onveilige, giftige omgeving.
